Reputedly the longest in the world, The Billabong Creek is home to an array of flora and fauna and provides a magnificent back drop to A Day on the ‘Bong. The Four Creeks Festival Committee invites you to celebrate our part in the Riverina Taste Festival.
The recipe is one for relaxation; including food, wine, environment, history, heritage, lifestyle and industry – the lifeblood of the town of Jerilderie.
Enjoy a taste of Jerilderie. An experience that captures the sensations offered by The Billabong Creek. Enlighten your senses, take in the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and feel the relaxed atmosphere that goes hand in hand with The Billabong Creek, Jerilderie.
Beginning at a central location in Jerilderie known as The Willows, you will be transported to The Cape, where you will embark upon a day of magic. The day includes stops along the way where you will listen to story-telling, venture down bush tracks, take part in leisurely activity; celebrate the success of our local farmers, learn about local industry and be entertained.
An Itinerary of other local attractions and dining guide will be available upon return to the Willows so that you may continue to enjoy more of a taste of what Jerilderie has to offer.
Meet back at The Willows later in the evening where you will have the opportunity to pick up your photo booth photos and sample some delicious local produce. Finish off your day by spending some time mingling whilst gazing at the brilliant stars.
This will be a brilliant day of fun and frivolity perfect for couples, small groups of friends or those curious to explore the secrets of The Billabong Creek, nestled behind Jerilderie’s CBD.
